The Oath of Honor Paladin is inspired by the common conception of a feudal Japanese Samurai. All Paladins are honor bound to follow their oaths, but the Oath of Honor Paladin extends the notion of honor into every aspect of their lives, from how they dress to how they speak to how and what they eat. Honor and duty are the guiding principles for this Paladin. The Oath of Honor Paladin extends honor and respect toward others and demands the same in kind. To these Paladins, losing honor is unacceptable and even unlivable, and a person without honor is a blight upon their own name and family. The reaction of the Honor Paladin toward those they deem without honor can range from merciful pity and admonishment to brutal destruction. Although mostly Lawful, this is not always the case. Following the law is an honorable act, but if the lawgiver is not honorable, the Paladin may then find themselves the rebel outlaw.
